Doctor’s Cave Bathing Club and Beach
Located in the middle of Montego Bay's "Hip Strip" Gloucester Avenue, the beach took its name from Dr. Alexander Mc Catty, who owned it and turned it into a bathing club in 1906. A small cave located on the property (which is no longer accessible) also contributed to the name. The name seems even more appropriate since Sir Herbert Baker (a British osteopath) claimed in the 1920's that the waters could cure a variety of ailments. The translucent water is known for its mineral content and the world-famous white-sand beach is clean and inviting.  Negril Beach
Located 45 minutes west of Silent Waters Villa, Negril has 7 miles of white sand beach, clubs, restaurants, reggae and beach bars. Margaritaville on the Beach is a great place for lunch and water sports. Watch the sunset from Rick’s Café or The Pickled Parrot. All totally casual. Hire a boatman and enjoy great diving and snorkeling on Negril’s reefs. |
Round Hill Beach Party
 Every MONDAY, beach party barbecue with bonfire and Calypso band. Every WEDNESDAY, pianist plays for the evening. Dinner is a la carte with option of the Caribbean Curry Table. Every FRIDAY, Jamaica Night: on seaside terrace, featuring a bountiful buffet, Jamaican specialties, Steel Drums or Reggae band, and an exciting Jamaican folklore performance after dinner. Every SATURDAY, Gala Dinner Dance: A more formal evening of dining and dancing on the seaside terrace with a Jazz Band. Jackets often worn, though not required.
